UNIO is a program focused on promoting research and development through projects involving different universities from different countries. More specifically, we intend to internationalize the projects; provide opportunities for experiences; exchange knowledge; increase the quantity and quality of scientific publications.
Precepts for a project to be chosen:
✔️To adhere to the theme proposed in a public notice published by the research network;
✔️To have a group of researchers necessarily composed of 3 different universities from 3 different countries taking part in the network;
A committee formed by professors appointed by the associated universities (elected at a meeting yet to be defined), by a member of Unis' Internationalization Department, by a member of Unis' Research Department and by the U.Experience team will manage the actions linked to the project concerning scientific aspects.
This committee shall choose a board composed of 5 professors from the associated universities to create the public notice, define the theme of the year and elect the 5 research projects that will be funded. At the end of 1 year, the chosen projects must report on the amounts received, publications made, and achieved results. The project also includes the realization of an annual scientific event online.
Universities affiliated to the UNIO project will commit to helping fund research activities through quotas of US$100 per month. These amounts will be allocated to the 5 projects chosen from the annual research notice published to the associates themselves (scheduled for 2021). U.Experience consortium members have a 30% reduction, resulting in monthly quotas of US$70.
